Distribution company Samokat is set to bring the beloved slasher-comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil back to theaters. The theatrical re-release is scheduled to premiere on February 26th.
Directed by Eli Craig, the film follows two well-meaning hillbillies, Tucker and Dale, whose peaceful vacation at a remote cabin takes a gruesome and hilarious turn. A group of judgmental college students mistakenly identifies them as deranged killers, leading to a series of fatal misunderstandings. The movie features stellar lead performances from Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk.
In Russia and the CIS, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil has already achieved significant success, drawing an audience of over 500,000 viewers during its previous runs.
