Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Channels Toni Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” for Halloween

Kayla Nicole’s Halloween look this year was crafted to get people talking. On October 31, 2025, the podcaster unveiled a tribute to Toni Braxton, inspired by the singer’s styling and choreography from the 2000 video for “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”

Nicole — who previously dated Travis Kelce on and off between 2017 and 2022 — wears a purple bikini beneath a sparkling silver net dress. She intercuts her footage with clips from Braxton’s original visual, echoing the song’s sensual movement and staging.

Nicole captioned the post, calling Braxton “an icon” and “a legend,” and tagged @tonibraxton along with #Halloween25.

The track she references peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and its lyrics center on a woman addressing her former lover’s new partner with a taunting, defiant tone — a theme Nicole leans into in her recreation.

Some of the lines Nicole mouths add an extra layer of intrigue given Kelce’s current relationship status; in the clip she mouths phrases that suggest she played a part in a breakup and that the former partner did not measure up.

Provocative costumes aren’t new for Nicole. Last year she revealed she once dressed as the woman an ex had chosen over her, a revelation fans linked to Teyana Taylor after Taylor later posted an apparent rejoinder on Instagram set to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” writing, “I know 2025 gone hate to see a Taylor coming!!”
