Travis Kelce is officially the king of Taylor Swift’s heart. After the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday (Jan 28), the 34-year-old tight end had an emotional moment with his superstar girlfriend on the field, and in a newly shared clip from the NFL, he says “I love you” to the pop star.
In the Monday (Jan. 29) video, a tearful Kelce – wearing an AFC Champions shirt over his shoulder pads – makes his way through a loud crowd to get to Swift. “Tay, I’m going to enjoy with the guys,” he says before kissing the 12-time Grammy winner. “I love you.”
Then, wrapping Swift in a tight hug, he adds, “So much it’s not funny.”
The NFL simply captioned the sweet video, “What a moment for @tkelce [heart emoji].”
Kansas City’s latest win means that the reigning Super Bowl champions will once again head to the big game on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. They will face off against 2024’s NFC Championship victors, the San Francisco 49ers.
Swift has been there for much of the Chiefs’ outstanding season, becoming a mainstay at Arrowhead Stadium ever since going public with her and Kelce’s relationship in September. On Sunday, she was joined by friends Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne in a box suite at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland, as well as Kelce’s parents, brother (Eagles center Jason Kelce) and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.
Swifties have been, collectively, an emotional wreck since seeing the “Anti-Hero” singer share a number of adorable moments with Kelce over the weekend, from proudly watching him give a post-game speech to passionately kissing him on the field to celebrate his win — but the NFL’s new clip might just take the cake.
“things that altered my brain chemistry: Travis telling Taylor he loves her so much it isn’t funny. what if i die?” one fan tweeted, re-posting the video.
“i am literally driving to the psych ward as we speak,” hyperbolized another Swiftie, while a third wrote that they were “GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET AND CLAPPING MY HANDS TOGETHER LIKE A SEAL.”
