Towkio Faces Sexual Assault Allegation, Responds

Chicago rapper Towkio has been accused of sexual assault, a declare he denied in an announcement. Yesterday (January 6), Twitter person @pppermint tweeted, “February 2016, I was raped, by Preston Oshita aka Towkio.” The girl detailed their alleged encounter, claiming that Oshita coerced her into intercourse, and that she tried to “physically push” him off of her throughout the alleged assault. “After the assault, I spiraled into a deep and dark depression,” the girl wrote. Last evening, Oshita responded to the allegations in an announcement on Twitter. “To provide necessary context, she and I were in an ongoing consensual sexual relationship dating back to 2014 which even included other women. I only say this to provide context and in no way to victim shame,” he wrote. “It is my hope that her and I can engage in a dialogue in a place where she feels comfortable to discuss our past relationship and her feelings.” See his full assertion beneath.
