Australian Powerhouses FISHER and Tones And I Unleash High-Octane Collaboration “Favour”

Looking for a high-energy dance floor anthem? Gold Coast production wizard FISHER has joined forces with global sensation Tones And I to deliver “Favour,” a heavy-hitting Australian collaboration that premiered Thursday, April 2, via etcetc.

This release marks the first time the two Aussie icons have worked together. While the pairing might seem unconventional on paper, the synergy is undeniable once the beat drops, resulting in a track designed to ignite clubs and festival stages alike.

Tones And I, born Toni Watson, famously transitioned from busking on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula to becoming a global phenomenon. Her breakout hit, “Dance Monkey,” topped charts in over 30 countries and holds the record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Chart (24 weeks). With two ARIA No. 1 albums and over 12 billion career streams, she remains one of the most formidable voices in modern pop.

On the electronic side, FISHER (Paul Fisher) continues to dominate the global circuit. His solo discography includes 25 releases, anchored by the Grammy-nominated smash “Losing It.” His latest 2025 single, “Stay,” is already on track to become his fastest platinum record to date. The release of “Favour” arrives just ahead of his Out 2 Lunch festival, which is set to expand across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and his hometown of the Gold Coast next month.

Fans first got a glimpse of “Favour” last December when FISHER teased the track during his historic headline set at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. That event drew 40,000 attendees—including NBA star Jimmy Butler—marking the largest solo headline dance performance in the city’s history.

Having already moved over 200,000 tickets across Australia, FISHER is looking to add another 100,000 to that tally with the upcoming festival expansion.
