Tom Holland to Star in New Film From the Director of “Iron Man”

Spider-Man star Tom Holland will headline Penthouse, a new thriller from Sony, written and directed by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Hobbs & Shaw).

Plot details are being kept under wraps. Holland will also produce Penthouse. It will be Pearce’s second outing as a director, following 2017’s Hotel Artemis.

Holland has had a big year, appearing in The Odyssey and the comic book adventure Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Both films performed strongly at the box office: the first earned more than $1.7 billion, while the second took in $2.5 billion, making it the third highest-grossing film of all time. Holland has also become the highest-grossing actor in history, with his films collectively earning $15.5 billion.
