Critics remain split on the Tom Cruise-led feature; some dismiss it as a “self-indulgent and pompous” attempt to parody Stanley Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove, while others hail it as a “daring, audacious, and brilliant” commentary on the climate crisis.
