Get ready for a masterclass in ’90s nostalgia. On Monday, March 23, hip-hop and R&B powerhouses Salt-N-Pepa and TLC officially announced their first-ever co-headlining trek. Aptly titled the “It’s Iconic Tour,” the nationwide run will feature the legendary En Vogue as special guests, creating a lineup that celebrates the definitive sound of an era.
This massive tour will bring three of the most influential female groups in music history to major arenas and amphitheaters across the United States. Fans can look forward to a setlist packed with chart-topping anthems, including “Shoop,” “No Scrubs,” and “Free Your Mind.”
“The energy of this show is going to be electric,” Cheryl “Salt” James shared during a Live Nation Q&A featuring all three groups. “We’re aiming for a mixtape-inspired flow—constant momentum, just hit after hit. It’s going to be explosive.”
En Vogue’s Cindy Herron emphasized the unique nature of the collaboration, calling it a “sensory celebration for the audience” and noting that a joint tour of this magnitude between these specific acts has never happened before.
The announcement serves as a prelude to a historic television moment: all three groups are scheduled to perform together for the first time on stage during the iHeartRadio Music Awards this Thursday, March 26.
Tour Itinerary and Dates
The “It’s Iconic Tour” is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, August 15, at the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tennessee. The journey will wind through the country before reaching its grand finale on Sunday, October 11, at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord in California.
“Bringing us all together is like a cultural Olympics,” Terry Ellis of En Vogue remarked. “Working alongside these ladies is an honor; they embody resilience and female empowerment. They are true legends.”
“We’re all legends!” Salt-N-Pepa’s James added with a laugh, echoing the mutual respect shared between the icons.
