Cardi B Says She Lost Her Birkin Esmeralda Bag

Cardi B revealed on Wednesday (Oct. 14) that she lost an Hermès Birkin bag named Esmeralda, stating on X in response to a fan that she believes she left the purse in a hotel.

“I f-vkin lost her,” the Grammy winner wrote. “Its the only bag missing. I think I left her in a hotel and I’m so sad about it.”

The user’s post featured an older video from when Cardi acquired the brown leather bag. “She’s exotic. She’s the moment,” the hip-hop star says in the clip. “Her name is Esmeralda.”

Birkins typically cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Cardi recently shared a haul of new purses acquired over a span of a few weeks that included three Hermès styles. In May, she told followers that her collection included 40 purses.

The artist performed on her Little Miss Drama Tour across North America from February through April, which grossed more than $70 million from 453,000 tickets sold according to Billboard Boxscore. She also traveled to Italy to walk in the Vogue World fashion show with Jennifer Lopez, mgk, and other stars.

In August, Cardi released the single “AH HA,” which debuted at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, topped the Billboard 200 last year.
