Latest Mafia: The Old Country Gameplay Trailer and Interview with Hangar 13
The official PlayStation YouTube channel has released another trailer for Mafia: The Old Country, featuring a mix of previously shown and unseen gameplay footage. It was filmed on the PS5 Pro, suggesting that the game will deliver a full 60 fps on this model.
- Running on rooftops, horse and car chases are all present in the prequel, but limited to specific missions.
- In the city square, there’s a building that can be seen in the prologue of Mafia 2.
- Enzo has a special vision that allows him to see all surrounding enemies in black and white tones, similar to something implemented in Mafia 3.
Today, IGN interviewed two key figures from Hangar 13 — the studio president, Nick Baynes, and the producer of the new Mafia, Alex Cox. However, during their nearly half-hour conversation, they didn’t reveal any clarifying information. Even when asked about the game’s length, they only compared the scale of the new installment to the first and second parts without giving a precise answer.
