If there is a publisher who does not know the crisis, it must be THQ Nordic, or more precisely its famous parent company, Embracer Group. The Swedish company definitely has a limitless appetite and, after acquiring an incredible number of companies – 4A Games (Metro), Saber Interactive (World War Z), Milestone (MotoGP) – or franchises in recent years, the organization has just taken a new step forward and announces the takeover … of eleven studios. Eleven, just that! And in the heap, there is a well-known company, Flying Wild Dog, whose developers are currently on the promising Shadow Warrior III, as well as a few others with diverse and varied productions. In the heap, there are also studios a little more independent, quite unknown to the general public, but which should undoubtedly be used for the expansion of THQ Nordic. Here is the list :
- Zen Studios (Pinball FX)
- Silent Games
- Coffee Stain North (Goat Simulator)
- IUGO (The Walking Dead: Road to Survival)
- Purple Lamp Studio (Spongebob : Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated)
- Mad Head Games
- 34BigThings
- Nimble Giant Entertainment
- Snapshot Games (Phoenix Point)
- A Thinking Ape (Kingdoms of War)
- Flying Wild Dog (Shadow Warrior III)
