Curiously, the recurring, boilerplate explanation for this dimensional shift is almost always an abrupt collision with a delivery truck. While sociologists could likely write academic treatises on the exact moment this trope morphed into self-parody, the why is ultimately unimportant.

What truly matters is that the brilliantly titled Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?! launches this week. In this eccentric title, you inhabit the rarely explored perspective of the truck driver responsible for isekai-ing a young woman right before she was due for a massive corporate promotion. Remarkably, she maintains a cellular link with you—and she is furious.
