“The Testament” renewed for a second season

The Handmaid’s Tale spin-off, The Testaments, starring Chase Infinity, has been officially renewed for a second season. This decision follows the dystopian series’ impressive viewership numbers and strong critical performance. Fans can look forward to the first season’s gripping finale, which is scheduled to air next week on May 27.

Set within the totalitarian regime of Gilead—a nation where women are subjugated by a radical patriarchal ideology—the narrative follows Agnes (Infinity) and Daisy (Lucy Holliday). As young acolytes, they navigate the brutal indoctrination enforced at Aunt Lydia’s (Ann Dowd) academy, where obedience is demanded through systemic cruelty and violence.

Additionally, viewers can anticipate a special appearance by June, the iconic character portrayed by Elisabeth Moss in The Handmaid’s Tale.
