The Spook School Are Breaking Up, Announce Farewell Tour
The Spook School (Chris Belous)

The Spook School, the Scottish four-piece indie pop group, are breaking apart. “Whilst it is incredibly sad we really want to look back with joy on this journey,” they stated in a press release. “We just can’t devote ourselves to the band the way we want to anymore and we would rather go out with a fanfare than let The Spook School drift quietly away.” They’ve introduced a farewell UK tour to happen this August with dates ending in September. See their full itinerary and assertion under.

Named after a late 19th Century sect of artists from the Glasgow School of Art, the band was based by Nye and Adam Todd, AC Cory, and Niall McCamley. Together, they shared three albums; Dress Up (2013), Try to Be Hopeful (2015), and final 12 months’s Could It Be Different?.
