The Sims 4 Update Adds Free Content and Improves Character AI and Cleanliness

The developers have prepared several surprises.

Maxis and Electronic Arts have released a major update for The Sims 4 on PC, consoles, and Mac. It includes technical improvements as well as new free content.

The developers stated that autonomous character behavior became their main priority. The implemented changes will make characters act more sensibly, such as “maintaining eye contact during conversations and washing their hands in the bathroom instead of suddenly rushing off to the kitchen.”

Various bugs that caused crashes in The Sims 4 and SimService were also fixed.

In addition, the developers of The Sims 4 have prepared several free additions, including clothing, build mode items, and new characters added to the Gallery:

• Players can expect six children’s items for Create-a-Sim, including a new hairstyle (a ponytail with bangs) and child versions of three existing hairstyles.
• Three new items for toddlers: a t-shirt, colored glasses, and a denim dress.
• Eight new build mode items to decorate a child’s room, including the “Kingdom of Colors” album, a picture frame, board games, children’s watercolors, chairs, an aquarium, and wall art.
• Seven new Sims have been added to the Gallery: four children, two toddlers, and an elderly woman.
