The new Parisian Overwatch map has some ace pianos

Bonjour, my little cauliflowers. The new Overwatch map klaxon is a-clanging, summoning us all to the glitz and glamour of Parisian avenue homicide. In a pre-Valentine’s shock, Blizzard popped Paris on the general public check servers final night time. Are they gearing up for some grand Valentine’s Day occasion? Hopefully.

In the meantime, here’s a neat piano and a robotic singer.

Here’s Blizzard’s rundown of Paris, together with some comparatively minor steadiness tweaks.

I simply went for a little bit swing across the new map. It’s good, if maybe a little bit too open. There are numerous buildings and archways for Hammond to grapple on, which is the primary factor I care about these days – and the primary seize level has a river behind it, so the punt potential is robust. I’m extra enamoured with the fluff, although.

You know, the traditional Blizzard fluff. Smashable ice statutes. Playable pianos.

Better but, there’s a robotic cabaret singer that entertains the attacking group as they spawn. It’s a ready space in a multiplayer game, so the leisure is much less about listening to her sing and extra about hopping round inanely and watching her react to being shot at. This is what she’s purported to sound like.

Paris is the second map in a row to deal with us to a music-infused spawn space, which is a pattern I’d be glad to see proceed. I’m undecided this tops Reinhardt karaoke, and it’s kind of been overshadowed by me simply discovering you could get Hammond to squeak along to the Overwatch theme. Still. The cabaret can keep.

Blizzard have but to say when Paris will escape of the check servers.
