The Dream of a Cockspur launches on Steam on July 22

Surreal point-and-click horror game The Dream of a Cockspur will launch on Steam on July 22, 2026. The game is developed by roccay and published by PLAYISM.

The story follows a group of investigators sent to examine an object that fell from space. A transport malfunction leaves them stranded on a remote island, where the investigation gradually turns into a cosmic mystery.

Players explore locations, collect objects and solve puzzles through a classic point-and-click interface. Decisions made during conversations and exploration reveal different sides of the story.

The game uses hand-built clay elements and stop-motion animation. It will support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese at launch.
