The budget for the Max Payne 1&2 remake has been revealed
“`html
In the financial report for 2023, developers shared the estimated budget of the project, which, according to forecasts, may not be released earlier than in 2.5 years.
The Max Payne 1&2 remake will be a new game with great potential and a development budget comparable to Alan Wake 2.
To remind, the sequel cost the Finns 50 million euros, meaning both games fall into the high-budget category. Another 20 million was spent on marketing for Alan Wake 2, but it is not yet known how much Rockstar Games will decide to spend on advertising. The creators of GTA and RDR finance all aspects of the remake’s launch as they own the rights to the franchise.
Interestingly, does the mentioned amount include upgrades to the Remedy office, photos of which were shared by employees a month ago? These are the first official images related to the Max Payne 1&2 remake.
