Antony Starr, widely recognized for his standout performance in the hit anti-superhero series The Boys, is set to trade his cape for a surfboard in an upcoming Netflix production. The storyline follows two friends as they embark on an adventurous trek across the vast landscapes of Australia. During their travels, the duo encounters a tight-knit group of surfers helmed by a magnetic leader named Brando—a role seemingly tailor-made for Starr.
Production for the series, titled Breakers, is already underway. Filming is expected to reach completion by the end of the summer season.
The project is being penned by screenwriter Pete Jackson, the creative mind who recently worked on The Death of Bunny Munro.
