‘The Batman 2’ filming temporarily suspended
Reports indicate that production on the sequel to “The Batman,” starring Robert Pattinson, has been temporarily suspended.
The hiatus was triggered by an urgent family matter involving director Matt Reeves, who had to step away from the set immediately. Insiders are currently unable to gauge how significantly this interruption will impact the overall filming schedule for the project.
The star-studded cast for the sequel includes Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and others. The narrative is set to pick up in the aftermath of the flooding in Gotham City. Warner Bros. currently has the film slated for a theatrical release on February 19, 2028.
