The franchise is set to return with Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. The developers are revealing a variety of in-game content.

The team behind Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era continues to unveil new material. They recently released a fresh promotional image.

This time the spotlight falls on Matastala the White:

“Matastala does not wholly embrace the Abyss, but she seeks balance — forging an alliance with the schism not out of faith, but to serve as a steady voice among them.

Renowned for her intellect and reasoning, she acts as an adviser and is constantly engaged in chess matches with Gleard; their rivalry sharpens both minds. Even amid the chaos of the schism, Matastala always finds ways to amuse herself.

Specialization: Grandmaster

In the tactical phase she gains +1 hex to her range and reveals the locations of neutral armies. Creatures in her army receive +1 to Initiative for every six hero levels.”
