Taylor Swift Reveals If She’ll Tour ‘Life of a Showgirl’: “I’d Want to Do It Really Well Again”

Although she has just released Life of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift told BBC Radio 1 that she’s not ready to jump back into touring. When asked whether she felt the “itch” to hit the road again following the Eras Tour, she answered plainly: “No — I’m going to be really honest with you — I am so tired.”

The fatigue is understandable. The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and wrapped in December 2024 after 149 performances across five continents. By the time it concluded, the tour had become the highest-grossing in history, generating in excess of $2 billion and selling more than 10 million tickets.

Even so, Swift spoke warmly about the experience. Life of a Showgirl chronicles the massive production and captures behind-the-scenes moments from that era — including audio from her final Vancouver performance, which appears on the Sabrina Carpenter–assisted title track.

“I think about it every day,” she said of the tour. “I had so much fun on that tour. It was obviously the most exhausting challenge, physically, but I’ll never forget seeing what I saw. I could see everyone from the stage.”
