Tate McRae has announced a deluxe edition of her album So Close to What — the album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its initial release in March. The enhanced edition, featuring additional songs, is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025.

In an Instagram post on , McRae wrote that “SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe) is out November 21,” adding that she had a few more songs she wanted to share to close the SC2W era. You can view her original announcement on Instagram.

A pre-save and pre-order link is available on her official site; the deluxe album will be distributed digitally on Spotify and Apple Music, and sold physically through her webstore on CD ($11.98) and vinyl ($39.98).

As of , McRae has not revealed how many new tracks will appear on the deluxe edition or what their titles are. Also on November 8, 2025, she wrapped the Miss Possessive Tour — which launched in March — with a final stop at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and shared behind-the-scenes photos from the day.

In September 2025 she released the standalone single “Tit for Tat,” a track not included on the original So Close to What tracklist. After teasing it while on tour, the song became McRae’s third top-five entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been widely discussed in connection with her recent public breakup with fellow pop artist The Kid LAROI.
