Terminator 2D: No Fate was recently pushed back, but it’s now slated for a 2025 release. The revised launch date is November 26, 2025, and the developers say the project is effectively complete this time around.
The team only needed a few additional weeks to apply the final polish to the code.
To demonstrate progress, the creators released over two minutes of gameplay. The footage shows the T-800 and Sarah Connor fighting their way through waves of enemies, with one of Bitmap Bureau’s developers providing commentary and guiding the demo.
Terminator 2D: No Fate will arrive on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. The game blends kinetic 2D action with the familiar Terminator universe, promising intense shootouts and strategic use of each character’s abilities.
