Greetings, Commanders,

Following the recent launch of our Warships of the Pacific cosmetic pack and the subsequent pair of hotfixes, I wanted to provide a quick update regarding our current studio progress. Please note that developer interactions may be slightly delayed, as our Swedish team is currently away for the holidays until Tuesday.

Open Beta Initiatives

As many of you are aware, we are currently running an open beta focused on refining naval balance. We have heard your feedback regarding the current detection levels for submarines; rest assured, the necessary adjustments are already in the works and will be implemented alongside our upcoming Peace for our Time release.

Peace for our Time

We are gearing up for the imminent launch of Peace for our Time, and we look forward to sharing exciting news regarding our very first Focus Pack shortly. This project marks our second collaborative effort with community modders, and we are confident you will appreciate the new content. We will be publishing a series of Developer Diaries closer to the release date to provide a deeper look at what’s in store.

Naturally, this update will be accompanied by a free patch for all players, packed with AI enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations. We have also prioritized “click-reduction” improvements, streamlining various mechanics to create a more intuitive experience.

Celebrating a Decade of Hearts of Iron IV

June 6th marks a major milestone: the 10-year anniversary of Hearts of Iron IV. While we are keeping the specific details under wraps for now, we have some fantastic celebrations in the pipeline that we can’t wait to reveal.

Thunder at our Gates

As previously mentioned, we adjusted our roadmap by swapping Thunder at our Gates with Peace for our Time to allow for further polish. The feedback gathered from our recent Dev Corners has been invaluable, and the content is shaping up beautifully. We look forward to sharing more once we officially unveil the project.

Looking Ahead

Everything outlined above is scheduled for release within the first half of this year. While we are focused on these upcoming launches, our team is already deep into the development of future content. Every member of our studio contributes to these releases, ensuring that each project benefits from the collective expertise of our entire team.
