Stranger Things Star to Join John Wick Spin-Off
Australian actor Dacre Montgomery, best known for his role in Stranger Things, has joined the cast of Caine, an upcoming spin-off within the John Wick universe.
Donnie Yen is set to star in and direct the film, which picks up after the events of the fourth installment, following the journey of Caine, the blind assassin and formidable rival of John Wick. Pop star Rina Sawayama will also reprise her role as Akira.
Lionsgate will handle the distribution of Caine, with a theatrical release anticipated in 2027. Specific details regarding Montgomery’s character remain under wraps. The actor’s recent credits include the thriller Went Up the Hill and the horror feature Faces of Death.
