The streaming service Netflix has released the first four episodes of the fifth — and final — season of Stranger Things.
The story is set in the autumn of 1987 in the town of Hawkins. Returning to the series are Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink and others. Linda Hamilton, famed for her role in The Terminator, appears in a supporting part.
The show was created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer. The remaining episodes will be available on Netflix on December 25, with the season five finale arriving on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
