The concluding chapter of “Stranger Things” Season 5 reportedly raked in between $25 million and $28 million at the U.S. box office, according to industry insiders.
While Netflix typically keeps its theatrical earnings under wraps, the finale, titled “The Rightside Up,” drew significant crowds during its New Year’s Eve screenings. The episode was showcased across major cinema chains, including AMC, Cinemark, and Regal Cinemas, with ticket prices ranging from $11 to $20.
The cultural phenomenon officially reached its end this week, nine years after its initial premiere. However, the universe continues to expand; creators Matt and Ross Duffer have already announced a live-action spin-off. Additionally, an animated series titled “Stranger Things: Tales from ’85” is slated to debut on the streaming platform later this year.
