Still $100: Some Grand Theft Auto VI Content Will Be Exclusive to the Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition for Grand Theft Auto VI offers more than just cosmetic items. It includes exclusive missions and gameplay features for an additional cost.
Beyond outfits for Jason and Lucia, this version unlocks five specialized in-game shops. Players are discussing this decision because it restricts specific content to the premium edition.
These exclusive locations include:
- Rideout Customs: A vehicle workshop offering detailed interior modifications, custom rims, and specialized paint styles.
- Sara’s Unisex Salon: A beauty studio featuring unique hairstyles for the protagonists, plus additional beard, makeup, and manicure options.
- Stock 305: A clothing store with a collection of premium streetwear.
- Electric Fang Tattoo: A parlor featuring over 50 exclusive tattoos designed by the art collective FAILE.
- One-Eyed Willie’s: A workshop near Lake Leonida specializing in off-road vehicle upgrades and custom paint jobs.
It remains unclear how these stores appear for owners of the standard edition. They may appear on the map, but the services will likely remain locked without the Ultimate Edition.
The package also bundles additional missions. Owners gain access to a raid on the PTT YOUNGIN$ Illegal Goods Store Gang Compound and a special assignment called the Classic Car Collection Special Commission. These activities remain exclusive to the higher-priced tier of the game.
