Game Enhancements & New Features
- Hard Mode Unlocked: Challenge yourself from the very beginning of your journey. Hard Mode is now accessible from the start and is also available in Boss Challenge.
- Improved Save Reliability: We’ve introduced a notification system that displays a warning on the center-left of your screen if a save operation fails. Additionally, a new recovery feature allows you to restore from a backup save automatically if file corruption is detected upon launching the game.
- VRAM Visibility: The graphics settings menu now provides a more detailed breakdown of your VRAM, displaying both current usage and the projected maximum.
Resolved Issues
- Gameplay Fixes: Resolved instances where bait in “Where Is The Fantastic Bait?” could not be collected from underwater containers. We also corrected camera misalignment during the “Demogorgon” encounter.
- Controls & UI: Fixed a mapping issue where the logo rotation key was unresponsive for AZERTY keyboard users in Photo Mode.
- Visual & Stability: Corrected a glitch where EVE’s firearm would intermittently vanish after using a Burst Skill in the NIKKE mini-game. We also fixed a bug preventing the artbook from appearing on the title screen after completing your first playthrough.
- Cosmetic & Progression: Players who linked their PlayStation Network account to claim the “Planet Diving Suit (2nd)” can now purchase the “Design Pattern: Planet Diving Suit (2nd) V2” from Roxanne’s shop in New Game +. Furthermore, we’ve fixed a bug that caused the “Planet Diving Suit (6th) V3” to default to the “Skin Suit” when entering Boss Challenge.
- Combat Refinements: Addressed abnormal character animations and camera jitters triggered by QTEs during the Scarlet battle.
- System Stability: Implemented fixes for various crashes, including those occurring when accessing Photo Mode.
- General Maintenance: Various additional performance improvements and minor bug fixes have been applied.
