Stefon Diggs Reveals Baby’s Sex with Cardi B, Says Birth Is ‘Real Soon’

Cardi B and NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs are preparing to welcome their first child together. At the CFDA Fashion Awards on Nov. 3, 2025, Diggs confirmed the sex of the baby — “It’s a boy” — and said he’s eagerly anticipating fatherhood.

Speaking with reporters at the event, Diggs expressed enthusiasm about raising an athletic son and joked about putting him through push-ups, sit-ups and plenty of outdoor activity. Later that night he told Extra that the birth is expected imminently: “It’s supposed to happen real soon,” he said, asking fans to wish the couple luck.

The pair went public earlier this year, first appearing together on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14, 2025), and were later seen at Coachella in April 2025. They announced Cardi’s pregnancy in September 2025; Cardi told CBS Mornings that she’s energized by balancing work and impending motherhood while receiving strong support from Diggs.

Cardi also released her album Am I the Drama? in September 2025, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Her pregnancy has unfolded amid public tension with her estranged husband, Offset, whom she has accused of delaying their divorce. At the end of October, Offset appeared to address the situation on a new track, critiquing aspects of Cardi’s personal life — a move that drew attention across social platforms.

Cardi has publicly rejected negative energy during this period. On an X Spaces conversation, she warned that people who target someone at a vulnerable moment — such as during pregnancy — ultimately face consequences, and said she isn’t dwelling on hostility while preparing for her child’s arrival.
