Stardew Valley is officially heading to Magic: The Gathering. Announced at MagicCon: Amsterdam, Wizards of the Coast unveiled a trio of limited-edition Secret Lair drops arriving later this month. These collections, part of the “Moonlight Jellies” Superdrop, aim to capture the quintessential aspects of the beloved farming sim—from cultivating crops and forging friendships to braving the monster-filled mines.
The collaboration introduces a bespoke “Stardew Valley” card, featuring exclusive artwork by series creator ConcernedApe. According to the official announcement, the card draws inspiration from the game’s core loop of “daily rituals, building rapport, and finding the perfect gift.” The collection is split into three distinct themes: Life in Pelican Town focuses on the community’s familiar landmarks; A Flicker in the Deep ventures into the perilous depths of the mines; and Welcome to Stardew Valley encapsulates the overarching rhythm of farm life, recipes, and magical mishaps.
The Card Collections
- Welcome to Stardew Valley: Includes “Stardew Valley,” “Mermaid’s Pendant” (Wedding Rings), “Pierre’s Truce” (Dawn’s Truce), “Swords to Plowshares,” “Rites of Flourishing,” “The Welcoming Committee” (Kynaois and Tiro of Meletis), a Sol Ring, and a Food Token.
