Star Trek Voyager Gameplay Revealed — Survival Strategy Game Based on the Sci‑Fi Franchise

The franchise will soon be joined by another strategy title.

Daedalic Entertainment has brought attention back to Star Trek: Voyager — Across the Unknown, which is being developed by Gamexcite.

The game is billed as a narrative strategy-survival experience — players will command the ship and manage its resources to chart the USS Voyager’s course themselves:

“Choose a risky tactic or play it safe. Negotiate diplomatically or rely on phasers. Investigate technologies the crew once avoided. But be prepared to face the consequences of your decisions. The game includes roguelike elements, so each run will present different challenges, and even iconic characters can meet an early end if you don’t respond appropriately.”
