St. Vincent Producing New Sleater-Kinney Music

Sleater-Kinney have new music on the best way, and will probably be produced by none aside from St. Vincent. Both the band and Annie Clark confirmed the information on Twitter, with St. Vincent writing, “2019. Sleater-Kinney produced by St. Vincent,” accompanied with {a photograph} of all of them within the studio. Find that beneath.

Last 12 months, St. Vincent shared a brief clip of herself covering Sleater-Kinney’s “Modern Girl.” 2017 noticed her and Carrie Brownstein collaborate on a series of surreal short films for Instagram. The final information of a brand new Sleater-Kinney album got here at the start of 2018, when Brownstein informed Billboard, “Now, just so you know, we’re going to do this very slowly… It’s an ongoing conversation.” The band’s final studio album No Cities to Love was launched in 2015.
