“Spider-Man: A New Day” has secured the top spot at the North American box office for the sixth consecutive weekend. Starring Tom Holland, the film continues to demonstrate remarkable staying power, maintaining its dominance well beyond the conclusion of the traditional summer blockbuster season.

The primary challenger to the Marvel powerhouse remains Christopher Nolan’s “Odyssey,” which is also enjoying its sixth week in theaters and holding firmly in second place. Notably, “Spider-Man” has vaulted past the $900 million mark domestically in just 36 days—a feat faster than any other film in cinematic history. This record was previously held by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which reached the milestone in 50 days.

The resounding success of “A New Day” is particularly impressive given the transition out of the summer season; from May through August, the U.S. box office generated approximately $4.6 billion, marking its strongest performance since 2019.
