Media Confirm Sandra Hüller’s Participation in the New “Avengers”

Oscar nominee Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall, The Zone of Interest) will make a cameo in the blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. Variety has confirmed the rumors about the actress’s involvement.

Her name appeared in the film’s stunt performer listings in September. Marvel still has not commented on Hüller’s casting or on any details of her role. Some insiders have claimed she will play one of Doom’s witch followers.

Avengers: Doomsday opens internationally on December 18. The cast also includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Florence Pugh, and others. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who also made Infinity War and Endgame.

Hüller has four films out in 2026, including Digger with Tom Cruise, Pawel Pawlikowski’s Fatherland, and the Austrian drama Rose, which won her the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
