Sony has been steadily bringing its games to PC, but one of the Japanese company’s franchises has yet to appear on computers — that may soon change.
The MLB The Show franchise still lacks a PC release. Thanks to an agreement with Major League Baseball, San Diego Studio’s titles have already reached Xbox and Nintendo Switch, while PC has remained unsupported.
That could be about to shift. San Diego Studio is hiring a developer with PC development experience, and the job listing explicitly mentions work on a multi-platform project, which has fueled rumors.
Such a move would be sensible — PlayStation has long treated PC as a key part of its strategy, and MLB The Show would be well suited to expanding its audience. Fans of sports simulations would surely welcome the chance to play one of the most popular baseball series on PC.
