Sonic is clearly on the rise. After the film released a year ago, in February 2020, and which had hit the box office (failing to have convinced the critics), we learn that an animated series in 3D will soon land on Netflix. An announcement not really surprising since the news had leaked on December 10, just before the Game Awards ceremony, through the @NXOnNetflix Twitter account which had immediately deleted the tweet. Still, it’s been official for a few minutes and this series is called Sonic Prime. A name that did not fail to make Amazon react, which finds the choice of the title rather well found. The release is announced for 2022 and we know that WildBrain Studios is in charge of the project, known for many cartoons such as the reboot of Inspector Gadget, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Transformers: Rescue Bot and the Teletubbies. It is the branch based in Vancouver, Canada, which will take charge of bringing this very popular character to life among children.
Very good name anyway. https://t.co/7nqf8EikaC
