It is within the framework of Sonic Central that SEGA made official the existence of Sonic Colors Ultimate on Xbox One, PC (Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch and PS4. As you can imagine, it will be a boosted version of the game released in 2010 for Wii, the developers of Blind Squirrel Entertainment promises revamped graphics, 4K 60fps on Microsoft and Sony consoles, new features, improved gameplay, as well as the new “Rival Rush” mode – with which we can duel Metal Sonic, and so grab a whole bunch of rewards.
That’s not all, since we learn that Sonic Colors Ultimate has three editions:
- The standard edition, which will only contain the game;
- The Day One Edition, which will include the game and a baby Sonic keychain;
- The Deluxe Edition, which will include the game, four-day Early Access, icons, exclusive music, and a pack full of customization items.
The game is scheduled for release on September 7th.
