Skyrim modder ported eight World of Warcraft regions into the game
Fragments of Blizzard’s world have been brought into a Bethesda title.
Recently, a modder who goes by the name Taryl80 unveiled an ambitious project for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition that transfers several World of Warcraft zones into Bethesda’s game.
Available locations:
- Burning Steppes
- Duskwood
- Elwynn Forest
- Redridge Mountains
- Stranglethorn Vale
- Stormwind
- Swamp of Sorrows
- Westfall
The “Azeroth Reborn” mod is distributed for free via Nexus Mods. The author emphasized that the project is limited to location transfers: “I will not be adding quests or additional content — that would be too large a task for me to tackle alone. Wherever possible I stayed true to the World of Warcraft originals, and I hope this mod appeals to nostalgic fans. Even if the in-game areas aren’t exact replicas, they should still evoke those worlds.”
