Sigourney Weaver is set to take on a pivotal role in Amazon Prime Video’s highly anticipated “Lara Croft” series. The legendary actress will portray Evelyn Wallace, a wealthy and influential figure who entices the iconic protagonist into a high-stakes, perilous venture.
The titular role of Lara Croft will be spearheaded by Sophie Turner.
The ensemble cast also features Jason Isaacs, who will play Lara’s uncle, Atlas De Mornay, alongside Bill Paterson as Winston, the Croft family’s steadfast butler.
The project is being spearheaded by “Fleabag” creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who serves as the show’s primary developer.
