Sergey Bezrukov to Star in ‘The Captain’s Daughter’ Adaptation
The streaming service KION has announced a new addition to the cast of its upcoming series adaptation of Alexander Pushkin’s classic novel, “The Captain’s Daughter.” Renowned actor Sergey Bezrukov is set to join the production.
Bezrukov will portray the nobleman Andrei Petrovich Grinev, the father of the story’s protagonist, Petrusha Grinev (played by Oleg Savostyuk). The ensemble cast also features Evgeny Tkachuk, Evgeniya Leonova, Egor Koreshkov, and others.
An official release date for “The Captain’s Daughter” has yet to be announced.
