Three heavyweights of the contemporary music scene are joining forces for what is shaping up to be the undisputed anthem of the season. Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have recently taken to social media to build anticipation for their upcoming collaboration with Becky G, titled “Te Olvido (La La),” slated to drop in just a few days.

In a Tuesday (July 28) video shared by the Rare Beauty visionary, Gomez is seen relaxing effortlessly in a casual white tank top, sporting a bare face and an understated ponytail. As she gracefully swipes her hand across the camera lens to the rhythm of an upbeat Latin pop groove, she transforms into a vision of old-Hollywood glamour, complete with a polished bob and a dazzling gold gown.

The day prior, the acclaimed producer and husband of the star offered eager followers an exclusive preview of the single. “POV: ur new song with wifey and becky drops in a few days but but ur the only one in the world who has the mp3,” Blanco captioned a snippet featuring the undeniable vocal harmonies of the two songstresses delivering an infectious “Oh la la la la” hook.

“Can’t believe I’m on this song and you haven’t sent me the mp3,” Becky G playfully remarked in the comments section.

Releasing this Friday (July 31), “Te Olvido (La La)” serves as a precursor to Blanco’s upcoming studio album, Hermoso. The eight-track collection, scheduled for an August rollout, will also feature previously unveiled singles such as “Degenere” featuring Myke Towers and “Joven y Salvaje” alongside Bb Trickz.

Meanwhile, Becky G is also gearing up for a major album release of her own. Entitled Baraja Bendita and arriving on August 14, the 17-track project includes standout singles like “EPA”—which climbed to No. 47 on the Hot Latin Songs chart—and the Elkan-assisted “Marathon.” The upcoming body of work follows her critically acclaimed 2024 LP, Encuentros, which secured the No. 15 spot on the Top Latin Albums ranking.
