The Yakuza Team is already engaged on changing actor Pierre Taki in Judgement.
Taki, who was arrested in Japan over alleged Cocaine use, prompted Judgement to be pulled off sale in Japan. Taki performs Kyohei Hamura, and lends his voice and likeness to the in-game mannequin.
But because the resolution to take the game off cabinets was by no means actually meant to be everlasting, the developer has already changed him in-game. The Yakuza Team is at the moment engaged on implementing this variation, changing Taki with an authentic character.
Studio head Toshihiro Nagoshi confirmed the information to IGN, including that the game’s Western launch date of June 25 stays unchanged.
