On Friday, after the announcement of the delay of GTA 6 to May 26, 2026, fans wondered why the developers hadn’t updated the release year on the official website and social media. It turns out they were saving a lot for today. Along with the second trailer, the developers showcased numerous screenshots, illustrations, and shared details about the characters, plot, and game world.
Trailer 2 is noticeably different in style from previous Rockstar Games presentations and looks much more impressive compared to the first. It shifts the focus from Lucia Caminos to Jason Duvall (this is the first official confirmation of not only the last names of the main characters but also the name of the protagonist), while showcasing the relationship between the pair. The guy waits for the girl to be released from prison, and then they enjoy, have fun, and, of course, participate in heists together.
