Second-Generation Spartan: Cosplayer Transforms into Master Chief from the Halo Universe

Cosplayer Nikolay “Lama Yokohama” Shlykov embodied Master Chief from the Halo universe — ready to confront Covenant forces, share quiet moments with Cortana, and pull people out of deadly danger.

Since 2001, the Halo series has thrilled fans with Master Chief’s extraordinary adventures in a setting where humanity is locked in an ongoing war against the formidable alien coalition known as the Covenant.

Photographer Margarita “RmeGusta” Larionova and cosplayer Nikolay “Lama Yokohama” Shlykov paid homage to the franchise. During a special photoshoot, Nikolay transformed into Master Chief.

Master Chief, also known as John-117, is the central figure of the Halo franchise — a Spartan-II supersoldier and one of the UNSC’s most battle-hardened and effective warriors.
