Scarlett Johansson is in advanced negotiations to appear in Matt Reeves’ sequel to The Batman. Robert Pattinson is set to reprise the lead role. Plot specifics are being kept under wraps, but reports say Johansson could play Bruce Wayne’s romantic interest.
It is also known that Zoe Kravitz, who previously played Catwoman, will not be appearing in the film.
Filming for the Batman sequel is scheduled to begin in the spring of next year. The worldwide premiere is planned for October 1, 2027.
