Sarik Andreasyan’s “Beauty” to be released in October
Streaming service KION has confirmed the premiere date for Sarik Andreasyan’s new series, “Beauty” (Krasota), which is set to launch on the platform on October 30.
Set against the backdrop of the crumbling Soviet Union, the story follows Vera (Ekaterina Stulova), a director at a local cultural center who spearheads the nation’s inaugural beauty pageant. As the event unfolds, she quickly discovers the steep and unforeseen price of her ambition.
The ensemble cast features Nikolai Schreiber, Alena Khmelnitskaya, Kristina Korbut, Evgeny Sidikhin, Margarita Dyachenkova, and others. The first season consists of eight episodes. A brand-new teaser clip has also been released alongside the announcement.
