Acclaimed Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, best known for her role in Little Women, is poised to step behind the lens for her directorial debut with a short film titled Paper Plane.
While specific plot details are currently being kept under wraps, Ronan is also serving as the project’s screenwriter. Principal photography is scheduled to commence in 2026.
Ronan’s most recent screen credits include the dramas The Outrun and Blitz. She is presently preparing for her involvement in the upcoming series of Beatles biographical films.
