Deadline has revealed a star-studded ensemble for Three Incestuous Sisters, the upcoming project from acclaimed Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher, known for La Chimera and Happy as Lazzaro.
The film boasts a powerhouse cast including Saoirse Ronan, Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, and Josh O’Connor. Adapted from the graphic novel of the same name by Audrey Niffenegger (author of The Time Traveler’s Wife), the narrative explores the intricate dynamics of three sisters caught in a web of jealousy and deep-seated rivalry.
Rohrwacher co-penned the screenplay with celebrated author Ottessa Moshfegh (Eileen). Principal photography is scheduled to commence this April.
